Guess I said the same thing last year! Getting old almost 73, boy, seems like the early 80's was forever ago!

Cliff, had the chance to chat with your boy, Chris! You and Kathy did a good job, he is a delightful young man! Almost felt like I was talking with you again! Often in my mind Shipmate, always in my heart!

As I get older, yes Shipmate, at 70 now you'd be right to call me old man! Cliff, it was so long ago, and yet I can still remember so clearly picking you up, and getting you in Independence Hall. You and Duke Bullock really helped bringing that barracks to life. Just found a foto of you at Cable Beach in Cuba! We looked so young! I only post twice a year here, Clifford, I remember and talk about you way more!

Hi Papa Clifford, I know you didn't get to meet me, but my mom, your daughter, has told me a lot about you and I kind of wish you would have got to meet me. My mom had 6 other kids, and your son had 4 of his own. You are a grandpa of 11. We all love and miss you and will come to visit your grade again soon.

Cliff, bunch of us from the Monongahela are having a reunion this summer. We're really going to miss you! You know how much the other Plankowners thought of you! Every time I talk to Van, or Jimmy, or Sully, or Mac your name always come up, we all share a laugh! Can't believe that was 37 years ago! It was good to see you at the Church before your Mom's funeral, wish we had gotten together afterwards! Cliff, your LPO still appreciates you!

Here comes Santa Claus!  Another Christmas coming and we still miss you. Clifford you have the most beautiful grand children, our hearts ache that you have missed all of their growing.

I still think of you, and listen to stories that glorify you in life. I didn't know that person, really, although I did see hints of him here and there. I do remember your shining, twinkling eyes when you were sober and really tickled about something- they were so pretty. I still try, Clifford, to recall good things/times w/ you- I haven't given up!!!
