Will always remember the time Dad said we weren't getting a tree for Christmas. ( he always said that ) but this year it was almost Christmas Eve & no tree.You took your babysitting money & You , Sandy & I walked to Keller's on Front Street & You Bought this HUGE TREE ! Us three girls dragged it home. I was sent on ahead to get the tree stand out.We had to have Great Uncle Joe come over to put it up for us. You were so young but you wanted to make sure that us kids had a tree. Your loving & caring heart was bigger than you.

Mom used to send us to Uncle Frank's for the summers and boy did we have fun! Playing in the hayloft, pig pen (yes I said pig pen), corn crib, playing down by the river catching clams, looking for pearls...silly songs, pnut butter toast, chasing out of the bedroom, cuz bats were on the bed.  Would not have traded those times for the world! Going into town, Uncle Frank giving us an endless account at the "EAT CAFE"!  Playing "Sukyoki" on the jukebox. And so much more....
