My mom was born August 18, 1947 in Perry County Kentucky, she went to be with Jesus on March 19, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. My mom was my life, she was everything to me. She would go out of her way to help anyone she could, she loved gardening, flowers, cutting grass, and church. She has 11 grand children and 15 great grand children. She has 4 children the oldest being my brother Tim, then me, my sister Nancy, and the baby brother Kevin. My mom had a rough life they had to work hard from dawn to dusk, they didn't have the privilage of going to school because they had to stay home and work in the garden, feed the animals like the hogs, cows, goats, and chickens and try to get enough food to do them through the winter. The girls had to work just as hard as the boys. My mommy raised 4 kids on her own no help from our dad at all. Mom believed in working to get what you want and that is exactly what she did. I love and miss her so much. I had a massive heart attack the same year that mom died and the Dr said it was a heart attack that I shouldn't have lived through. The hard part was I layed and looked at the door waiting for my mom to come in the door anytime but that never happened. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of my mom. I miss her and love her more and more everyday.
