it was on the shores of lake erie,in westfield,ny,that margaret marie lye wheeler,gave birth at home on oak st,to carleton r. wheeler(his father is frank l.wheeler) on dec 10 1934,was that ever a cold night... dad had a sister florence marie and a brother norman dewey and a bother bisbee who at age 17,died from drinking bad milk...life wasnt great for dad,who at age 5 contracted polio.in his legs,which bothered him up to his death at age 73... he married phyllis lancaster in 1961 and in 62,i came along his exat copy in the face... frank was born in 1964 ....
