Ms. Cornelia Chapman, the daughter of the late Jerry and Josephine Morris Chapman, was born May 19, 1941 in Troup County, GA. She departed this life on February 9, 2016 at the Douglasville Nursing and Rehab. Center, Douglasville, GA.

Cornelia accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and united with the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

She was a product of the West Point City School System.

Cornelia enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She looked forward to fellowshipping with her family and friends. She was a devoted and dedicated to her famly; even though Cornelia did not have children of her own, all of her nieces and nephews were here children.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sallie Lou Johnson, Ella Mae Thomas; two brothers, James Morris,Sr., Rufus Chapman; two nephews, Jerry Lee Thomas, James Morris, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five nieces, Karen (Harold) Frazier, Lithia Springs, GA; Eula Swinney, Beulah (Terry) Doby, Marilyn Thomas, Atlanta, GA and Lorraine Buchanan, Auburn, AL; one nephew, Gregory Thomas, Atlanta, GA; special cousins, Susie Mae Thomas, Zeb Thomas, St. Thomas, VI; James Morris Family and a host great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
