I didn't know Travis personally but competed against him in HS sports. He was not a big guy but he was tenacious and tough! Went to college with him as well and remember that same toughness being displayed as a Cornhusker cheer squad leader! Was always an impressive guy and a standout athlete. His death was an unfortunate reminder that 'war is all hell'.
