ADESOLA CYNTHIA SOKOYA was born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Julius
Kehinde Bomodeoku Oyenekan in Ofin Sagamu, Ogun State Nigeria.

Sola was the 3rd of nine siblings. She attended St. Paul Primary School Ofin Sagamu between 1974 and 1980 after which she proceeded to Muslim High School Sagamu where she graduated in 1984. She furthered her education by attending Federal Polytechnic Ilaro and graduated in 1992 with a HND degree in Marketing.

After migrating to the USA, she gave birth to her only child Jonathan Oloruntobafunmi Sokoya in 1995.

To further her education and improve herself, Cynthia attended California State
University, Hayward, where she earned a B. Sc. in Business Administration specializing in Accounting. She later attended Golden Gate University
where she graduated with an MBA in Finance in 2008. This was
one of her shining moments.

She worked as an Accounts payable and receivable specialist at Robert
Half Finance and Accounting. Later, she worked as a Program/
Financial Analyst at Contra Costa County from 1999 to 2009 when
she emigrated back to Nigeria.

In Nigeria she was the Group Head, Administrative Management at
Westcom Group of Companies up until January 14, 2013.

She is survived by a son Oloruntobafunmi, mother, brothers, sisters
and a large extended family. Time will pass but surely your memories
will forever remain in our hearts and your Legacies.
