I miss my dad; I wish he had been around to watch my kids grow up. I wish I could ask him questions. I feel him with us often, though - if I'm walking through Home Depot, I feel like he's walking next to me. Eric has been doing woodworking this last year, and feels that dad is out there with him, guiding him. I know he'd be proud of Eric's work! The kids miss their 'grandpappy', too. Even though he hated when they'd call him that instead of grandad!

Dale was such a kind and good man. I don't believe I ever heard him say an unkind word about or to anyone. He and Donna made the best couple in the world. I know he smiles down on her everyday, he's got to be part of that beautiful Florida sunshine!

I had the pleasure of knowing Dale since he started dating his wife. I have so many great memories of good times spent with Dale and Donna. Dale was a true gentleman, a wonderful man, and a lot of fun. I feel so fortunate to have had a chance to "chat" with Dale a couple of weeks ago, not knowing that would be the last time I heard his voice. You will be missed by many Dale. May you rest in peace

Dale was a true gentleman who was devoted to and adored his beautiful wife and family. He was very knowledgeable on many subjects and a wonderful host. What I didn't know until the last few years was how courageous he was and how strong his desire for life was, despite the tremendous suffering he went through in his battle with leukemia. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family to ease the pain of this loss. With deepest sympathy.
