I met Damon about 3 or 4 years before I retired in 1999.   He and I had a constant "back and forth" on our favorite college football tems.  His ... Nebraska and mine...Penn State.   This carried on even after I retired.   About once a year since I retired we corresponded thru e-mail.   I will greatly miss that.   As I recall Damon's brother worked in maintenance at AMSCO/Steris.   One day I was on the phone with Damon and his brother showed up to do some work in our department.  I handed him the phone and they carried on a long conversation.   Just listening from one end was hilarious.

God Bless your soul Damon.   You will be missed.

I met Damon when he became a service manager. I had a mentoring role with him and always enjoyed his energy and enthusiasm. We had the opportunity to travel together and we had a nutty weekend camping and fishing in Northern Wisconsin. I was always impressed by his dedication to Becky and the girls. His world revolved around them. He will be remembered for all the wonderful qualities he had.

Damon-what a guy! I met Damon about 30 yrs ago, probobly when he first started with Amsco. He was the service tech for our sterilizers and he could talk your leg off! Through the years he continued to service our hospital and we were able to watch him work his way up the ladder. He was always available to answer any questions, even if that wasn't part of his job anymore. Always happy, smiling and all through the years his favorite thing to talk about was his 4 girls!

What a fun drive

So I pick up Damon at the Nashville airport around 11pm. We need to drive north 90 minutes to Clarksville , TN. Tomorrow will be busy at the customer site with new reps for training. A couple of hours in the car with Damon....late at night. Hmmm....what am i in for? The ride of my life! Energy, enthusiasm, upbeat and non stop laughs!! We had a blast...again. The best part of the ride was just being with Damon and listening to him speak about Becky and his daughters. SP Forever!
