Dana was a beautiful wonderful person full of life and love. She and I adored each other. Dana spent the last year of her life in Florida. She dreamed of peace and the serenity of the beach. She and I spent many many weekends and even week days on Florida beaches. Her favorites were Florida's barrier islands. Dana and I went to Sannibel Island and she instantly fell in love with it's beauty and serenity.
Dana also loved Honeymoon Island and Anna Maria Island as well.She also enjoyed Micanopy Florida with its "back in time" quiet peaceful old Florida experience. In all Dana and I went to some 72 locations through out Florida.
Dana had a huge smile a warm heart and she never seemed to age. Though looking more mature as she grew older she kept a youthful look. Though she suffered hardships and many disappointments in life Dana never had any unkind words to say about anyone. She loved me, Tom Sanders,her brother Russ and his wife Heather, Donna her sister, and her dear friend Rosan so very much.
Dana's life was cut short with the complications of cancer. Dana had asked God for 5 to 10 years of peace and in turn he gave her 100,000,000 life times of peace in Heaven for eternity. I am positive our lives crossed for her healing and for mine. Both of us had experienced much heart break and despair.
I am a better person for God allowing me to kiss an "Island Angel" as I called her. Today she walks on streets of gold and sees more beauty than we can imagine.
For you see Dana trusted God in Faith and Jesus Christ as her Saviour and now lives in a real Heaven only waiting for me and her family to come!  831 was a family abbreviation for love. Eight letters three words that spell LOVE.....Dana was and is LOVED.
