His Life

His birth

October 17, 2014

Danny was born April 20 88 in Frankfurt Germany at 97 General Hospital

Parents. Daniel Alfred Cunnington.  3rd and Kathleen A Cunnington

He was born at 11 o'clock in the evening he was my chubby cheeks been my biggest baby and longest What a handsome little guy he was .We went home from the hospital on 23 April which also was the day of my oldest daughter Kristen's first birthday. Excited as she was she told everybody that her brother was her birthday gift

From that day until Danny passed away Kristen and Danny shared the same birthday they celebrated their birthdays together Everything was going well until about the third almost the fourth week I noticed one day holding him that his eyes seem to twitch

I wasn't too worried it was only a few times and of course I thought maybe it was him getting his eyes adjusted still though felt something was not right soon when his eyes moved he would jerk I after long talk convinces his father he needed to go to the The hospital I did not accompany my husband to the hospital at that time as we had Kristen at home and she still was a child she was only at your own several hours later my husband returned with the word that Danny had been placed in ICU we went back-and-forth with him and finally it was decided two months later he was transferred back to the States. His father decided to accompany him there he was sent to Walter Reed Army medical Center I remain behind with my daughter and cleared quarters and made all the arrangements for everything when I got there I was in formed  my son had been diagnosed with infantile spasms and Had been put on ACTH which shots needing to be given to to three times per day This was just the start of many many more complications and hardships that were to come and trials and tribulations from my son But through this all he remained so strong it was about five months old he had been in the hospital he was for aspiration pneumonia something he used to get quite a bit they sent him home and I went to feed him and he just like he wasn't eating when I asked my husband what was wrong I was told that well they said at the Hospital he was not eating there either but they hope by sending him home he would .But unfortunately that didn't happen and within the next two months my  son was given a G-tube which remain in  him until the day he passed away
