Thank you Danielle for honoring your daddy this way.
I am thankful I was able to help care for Dan.  He was a trooper.   We had some laughs along the way and I miss talking to him.  It helps to know he is at peace.

This is when dad and Doris came to my house and spent a few days with us and I loved every minute of it.  Daddy wanted to take Precious home with them and she would have loved running in the back yard but she had to stay home.  Even now when I looked at her I tell her Papa Dan still loves you and watching over us.  Im so glad he was able to visit with us.  I will always cherish that memory. 

This smile is awesome.

Here is not 1 but 2 brother-in-laws that would help out when daddy needed, even if he didnt ask. He loved to pick them, just to get a laugh. Oh how I miss those dinners at grandmas house.  They all sat together around the kitchen table and shared stories and great food. Then they moved to the living room to argue about the football games.  Such GREAT memories.

These are the 2 best sisters that daddy could have had.  They stuck by him his whole entire life and would do anything for him. He was very greatful and love them with true brotherly love.

Only if I could go back to this day, it wouldn't change the end, but the middle would have been different.
