Daniel Edward Haley, 83, a resident of Chewning Road, died Monday, September 20th at Universal Healthcare in Oxford.

 

A native of Granville County, the son of the late Charles P. Haley and the late Annie Elliott Wright and the widower of Airleen Wilkerson Haley. He was a member of Dexter Baptist Church, an army veteran and retired from Bandag.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 23rd in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Wayne Clark. Burial will be in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

 

Surviving are a grandson, Danny Haley (Tracie) of Oxford, two great granddaughters, Lindsey and Madison,  five sisters, Betty Adcock of Henderson, Dolphine Adcock of Oxford, Virginia Cox of Bowling Green, Va. Eleanor Smith and Linda Irby both of Chesapeake, Va.  He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Edward Haley Jr., a brother and two sisters.

Visitation 1:00-2:00PM Thursday, September 23rd prior to the funeral at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at 108 Jordan Road, Oxford, NC 27565.
