Regret

January 7, 2014
I will always regret the time I picked you up and set you next to me that the coroner got there and I did not have a chance to have your body before they put you in a thick orange bag and took you away from me. I had some things to talk to you about. I will never have that chance again.

Liza

May 19, 2013
Daniel bought a blue female pitbull. She was only eight weeks old. She got very sick. She contracted a very serious illness. He spent $3000 dollars. The first place he went they told him she would not make it. Then he found a vet who really loved pitts. She pulled through and then when she was six months old, someone stole her. He cried and screamed like a young child and he was a grown man. He ended up buying another pitt and named her the same Liza. He was very protective of Liza . HeĀ  would only let her outside for a few minutes. One day some one in the neighborhood locked Liza up in the house and they intended on stealing her. Daniel could hear her crying and screaming and barking from the neighborhood. He stayed up all night into the wee hours of the morning. He sat on the steps and whistled to Liza all those hours. The more he called to her, the louder she barked. Liza got so rowdy that the people let her out of the house. She ran straight home to Daniel. He was a determined young man. Once some guys called Liza and locked her in the back seat of their car with every intention. Of stealing her. He asked them to let her out . They told him to go to hell. He was not getting her back. They wanted to fight her. He got his 9 mill and told them, Now let her out. My dog is not going to be fought in a dog fight. He was a determined man and protected what he loved. I watched him play with Liza many times. He always rubbed her belly and she loved it. When he died she was next to him while he laid in a pool of blood. She was leaning on his side. I never saw him take off his dog tags. But they were hanging above his head on his book shelf. I picked him up and sat next to him. I still wonder how I had the strenghth to pick up over a 6'2 man over 200 pounds. But I had to talk to him before the coronor got there. Later.
