Feeding the Geese

Remember the time we went to Pena Adobe to feed the Geese? We were excited, and made sure to grab the good loaf of bread that had the twenty different kinds of seeds because seeds are what birds like...........
When we reached the lagoon there were only a couple of geese and we were a little disappointed, but happy to feed a couple at least.
As you started singing, and waving the bread, more geese began to appear, and suddenly, as if from the scene from the "Birds" at least a hundred or so geese began to waddle quickly towards you, honking, and biting other geese that were making headway. Before we knew it, you were consumed, and not until you left the loaf behind, and ran like bat out of hell and take refuge in the car were we safe. We had a good little chuckle, and watched the geese consume the loaf until it was no more, and only the 3 or 4 remained. Good times, like you use to say. You are always with me, Aunt Kim
