Although I wasn't his actual granddaughter, he was sure to tell everyone other wise! I will always cherish all the stories he told me and the way he could always change a bad day to a good day! He cared about me and my family as if we were his own! GRANDPA, YOU WILL BE MISSED! RIP- Katie

I can remember seeing Danny every morning when I walked in the front door and he always had the biggest smile on his face. No matter what kind of day it was he was always able to make your day a little brighter. I am so thankful for the opportunity to care for Danny in his last years. What a blessing he has been to so many and he will truly be missed!!

I remember Danny dancing when we would have music activities. He was so fun when we went on the shopping trip last year, and he purchased cowboy boots and a hat. He was kind to everyone, and taught us how to play the Farkle game. I miss Danny. He had many friends at Carthage health&rehab.

Danny, you gave the world a remarkable gift in your daughter Shannon. Thank you for that. Rest now & enjoy the peace that passes understanding.

Thank you to the loving staff of Carthage Health & Rehabilitation Center for finally providing a home to this weary traveller. Danny truly enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of those he came in contact with every day. I am grateful he received the love, kindness and care he needed in the end.
