"God Took Her To His Loving Home
God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain."
"My fondest memories as a child were with my Aunt. She had a laugh that was truly unique to only her. Her love for family was paramount and an inspiration to all who were graced by her presence. Her health challenges were never a hurdle for her and she always persevered them! Until we meet again... You will be missed!"

"Remembering Darcy with fondness for her strength, her drive for life, and the loving and giving person she was to everyone. Thank you, Walter, for loving my cousin so deeply and keeping her safe and secure in your love for each other. It was that love and the love of her close family that kept her going. Be at peace with your many good memories. Loving you all"
"Honey you will always be in my heart. I will love you until it is time for me to be with you again. You are the one that kept me happy with your love and strength, you can't be replaced only missed until we are together again. Save a place for me up there, I know you are in heaven because of the hell you were in on earth. With all of your sickness you still kept our family together and I will always miss that. Goodbye for now we will be together in a few years. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo"
"So the story goes like this...I was an infant and my parents wanted a weekend away. They left me in my grandparents care to come home and find auntie didn't want to give me up...she was always my auntie...nothing less. The other big memory that had significant impact was when her and uncle Walt lived in South Burlington. We would go there often to visit. Margie, Lynn and Celeste were my younger cousins. This one particular nite when I was oh probably 6 years old my auntie decided I should get my ears pierced. She enlisted the help of the next door neighbor and my mother. Old school. An ice cube and a sewing needle..end of story"
"I first met Darcy when we moved on Barre st, we become friends right off ,she was strong willed we were always getting in to some kind of trouble,we would say oh boy our mothers are going to be mad at us but somehow we always got of it,She was a good friend and threw the years we grew apart but we always tried to stay in touch maybe with a phone call, or visiting when we met up at Maria house she will be miss and I am sad that she is gone ,but she is in a much better place I am sure Love Ya,my friend"

For that I love you. You always had the biggest heart. Im glad he got to see you again and that you knew he was there. He loved his big sister alot! Rest easy and walk, run, dance all with no pain now. Until we all meet again much love to you, Laurie"
"My letter to you just before you passed.
I am not there physically but daily my mind is on you. I talk to God about you and pray he is waiting with open arms to greet you with gram and gramp. I wanted you to know that even though we may have not talked a lot you were loved so much by me. My boys know all about you too. I’ve always been called mini Darcy and you know what to me that is a great honor. You’re the strongest women I know. I love you so much. I wish I could be there to give you a kiss and a hug and laugh with you about dad. You were there for me when I was in my accident and that meant so much to me for you to come to VT to see me after that scare. You’ve always had your own special spot in my heart as my auntie that I’ve always looked up to. I love you so much! You stay strong and when you’re ready you go we want you to be comfortable and happy again. I love you so much.
