To know Daunae is to love Daunae Sweet ,Sweet ,Sweet ,Sweet ,Sweet . We have had so many fun times riding in moms ( Dawnells) car . Sometimes laughing , Sometimes fussing but always shopping and eating . Daunae kept me up on all the knew songs that came out . We knew Chris Brown,Beyoncé and her favorite Diggy Simmons . Dear Dawnell, so sorry for what has happened to your precious Daunae. Now she is your angel forever near. She was so loving to you and you were loving to her. It was my honor and pleasure to know Daunae. We had a special relationship. I always brought her chicken wings and breadsticks when I would visit her in the hospital. Ironically, the last time I ordered them for her she texted me later and said they made her sick. This made me smile because I thought she might me writing to say thank you. That was my Daunae!! She always made me laugh and I enjoyed spending time with her. I had the best Valentine's day this year when I received a text from Daunae telling me she loved me. I will always hold a special place in my heart for my sweet friend. I am sorry for her loss.

It really hurts to lose someone, especially someone as loving, kind and sweet as Daunae. Daunae, Pappy, Grandma and I will truly miss you and we know things will not be the same at your home in PA, when next we visit.

I am sadden at the lost of a wonderful young girl who I had the chance of meeting a few years ago in PA. I have had the opportunity of spending a few weekends at her parents house and she was always so friendly and happy. We would always swim together in the pool at her house , I would splash her and she would do the same .I had fun with her. She loved going the mall when we visit with her auntie Jamilliah, and cousin Makeda she had fun. I will miss her presents and her laughter .its never easy to lose a child ,I know I lost a son at the same age 21. They say time heals but it never does,hold on to your memories because there some things we can't do anything about God is in charge. Hopefully she is in a better place and some day we will meet again. My sincere sympathy to the family. GONE TOO SOON.

Daunae was a very special young lady, And I will always treasure a few months back Jackie and I went up and spend a few days with and for her, Oh how her spirit and vibrance reflect her "JOY" And we are all sure she is still spreading the same joy with our Father. Stay strong Dawnell & Enoch along with family and friends.

Dear friend Daunae, your mission has been accomplished, now it is time to return to your creator. We will miss you so much but we will meet again. In the mean time, we promise remember you with a smile in our faces. Thanks for the lessons you left us in here, you were a wonderful example of how much a person can achieve when there is love and courage. I was blessed to have been able to get to know Daunae for a short while. She always greeted me with a hug and a smile even when she wasn't feeling well. She was such a sweet girl. I'm so saddened by her passing. To Dawnell and Family, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

To Daunae's family;
  I was so very very sad to hear about our sweet Daunae. I was Daunae's third grade teacher at Arlintgon Heights Elementary School. No matter what kind of day I was having, Daunae ALWAYS made me smile and laugh. She will be missed! Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
