Dave Pfuetze died November 6, 2013 at New Braunfels, Texas.  He was born November 22, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas to Scott and Janet Edelblute Pfuetze.  He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1953 and from Kansas State University in 1958 majoring in Business Administration.  After graduation he served in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Dave worked for IBM and was an inventor.  After retirement he traveled throughout the United States.  He was married twice and has one daughter and two granddaughters.  He was proceeded in death by his close friend Jeannine Trott.  Dave was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and was a life member and major benefactor of the Riley County Historical Society.  Burial is in Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas.
