""Gone From My Sight" I am standing upon the seashore. A ship , at my side, spreads her white sails to the morning breeze & starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty & strength. I stand & watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea & sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull & spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me-not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying.. (by Henry Van Dyke)...
THE LIFE GIVEN US BY NATURE IS SHORT,
BUT THE MEMORY OF A WELL SPENT LIFE IS ETERNAL.
David, wishing you well."
"I met Dave over 8 years ago on the doc of a prop house in Hollywood. We both thought we knew one another and exchanged handshakes, etc... A couple years later, we worked together on set via a mutual friend. What an incredible guy. Dave's positive energy made up for all of us jaded and angry Hollywood types. He was really good to be around. Dave has made me look good for years, building and delivering my sets. He was a true artist. I didn't have to explain anything. He got it instantly and again... made me look really really good. He also taught me by example. We all lost big on this one. RIP brother Big Dave. You will be missed."
"This is so unbelievable. I heard this about David and I was sick and just punched in the gut. I am so sorry for your loss Jay and Bonnie,.. Laura and Andrea too. It is our loss too on the Foran side of the family. We always consider Jay and Bonnie as part of the Forans and we have lost a wonderful young man so so too soon. God bless you David and God bless you Jay and Bonnie. We Forans love you and wish so much that this was not so. We are here for you anytime, anywhere."

" Do not stand on my grave and weep...
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there... I did not die"
David's beautiful spirit will live on forever inside each of you, inside of us and inside of all of the people he has touched in his life with his passion and enthusiasm and creativity and laughter.

We send you all of our love and big hugs,
We hold you in our hearts
"Rest easy homie, you will be greatly missed and I remember this isn't good bye, but only see you later."
"Our dear "Bubba" inherited his love for art from grandma Frey who graduated from Rhode Island school of design and his love of music from his grandpa Frey who was a music teacher. His talents were natural. I think he could look at a piece of plywood or a large canvas and the picture in his head just magically was sent to his canvas for all to stare in awe!!! His talents were endless as we all have witnessed. Our family will have a large hole forever with the sudden loss of "Dave." Ryan and Dara spent many summer visits back and forth from PA to VA and Bubba always gave his room up for Ryan to sleep in.. to Jay Bonnie Andrea and Laura he could NOT have had a more wonderful family than all of you. The friends that he has are endless as one can see by all the messages here and on Facebook Thank you to everyone in LA for taking care of our family. We love you Bubba. Gone but NEVER forgotten. RIP"
"My favorite memories with you will always be in Key West. One of the best trips I ever had. Non stop laughing and good times. I will never forget your laugh. It will play in my mind forever. You couldn't help but laugh along it was so contagious. There were smiles for miles and I will always remember your free spirit big heart and charm. Rest easy my friend."

"There are no words to explain, the devastation and heartbreak my family is feeling from the sudden and unexpected loss of my dear brother, who was the heart and soul of our family. My brother's love for life and every person he came into contact with was bigger than anyone could have ever imagined. Even though he was my younger brother, he always had my back. He was a trailblazer, and the most creative, inspiring, loving, and amazing person anyone could ever of had the privilege to know. I am proud of all of his accomplishments, and the example that he set for his beloved Goddaughter and Niece Bailey. I am thankful for every minute and every memory that I have of him, and will always cherish. I will not say good bye "Unkie Dave, Dave Frey, Frey, Big Dave, Bubba, Little Bro"...as you will live on forever in each one of our hearts. I choose to celebrate your legacy and hope that others will do the same. Your name and memory will live on forever more. I love you and miss you more than you will ever know. Every night that it rains from here on out Bailey and I will know with every crack of thunder and lightening, you are playing the drums in heaven for everyone to hear. We love you so much!!!!"
