David Davidson, Jr. was born June 18, 1959 in Troup County, Georgia; to the parentage of David Joe Davidson and Clara Davidson.

He departed this life on July 22, 2016 at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, GA. 

Head”, as he was known to many, was a product of the West Point Public School System, where he was a member of the 1978 graduating class of West Point High School. He worked at West Point Stevens for 25 years and later became employed with Wal-Mart Distribution Center, 6054.

He enjoyed playing sports, talking junk, cooking, and dancing. You would often times see him coaching his grandkids during baseball season.

Head” was preceded in death by, grandparents: Joseph (Mary) Lipscomb; uncles: Willie Gene Lipscomb; aunties: Alberta McCullough, Ethel Mae Winston; Fannie Lipscomb, and Connie Lipscomb.

(Julia) Lee, Sr., LaGrange, GA; sisters-in-law, Claudia (Larry) Watkins, Augusta, GA; Brenda Brent, Jacksonville, FL; one brother-in-law, Willie H.
