This memorial website was created in memory of my loved one, David Walker, 89, born on June 23, 1923 and passed away on March 9, 2013. I will remember him forever.

David:

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on.

David deVere Walker, born June 23, 1923 in Winsboro South Carolina and went to be with the Lord March 9th, 2013.

He was a generous, selfless Christian man beloved by all who knew him and did much to help his fellow man. He was a benefactor and long time member of Grace Presbyterian church in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Dave had a great love of animals- especially cats. He was a generous contributor to animal welfare organizations- especially 'Pee Wee's in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He took in four adorable little strays who came to his house.
His favorite was an adorable little grey tabby girl that he named Katy.
(pictured) Katy lay on Dave's lap many hours while he watched TV and snuggled with him as he slept at night.
God bless this little creature who gave him many hours of pleasure and comfort in the last years of his life.

I was his care-giver for the last seven years of his life, and grew to love him very much. (pictured)
I don't think there has been a single day that I have not cried for the loss of Dave. I shall miss and love him for the rest of my life.
