His Life

David Smith was born on May 30, 1941 in Newnan GA to the late Jack and Janie Smith.  He was the first of eleven children.  David departed on March 27, 2013 he preceded in death by one daughter Robyn Smith, three brothers Mr. Luther Smith, Mr. Darvin Smith, and Mr. Rodney Smith, one sister Ms. Ola Mae Gartrell, one grandson, one grand daughter, and one daughter-in-law Mrs. Cynthia Smith.

 

David Smith accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Peter Baptist Church.  He attended Coweta County Public Schools.  He went to become a Heavy Equipment Operator for Mid South Masonry.

 

David Smith leaves to cherish in his memory: Grandmother Mrs. Ruby Elliott Canady, two aunts Mr. and Mrs. Williams (Ruby), Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lawerence (Rosa), one uncle Mr. Thomas Smith, Two loving sons Derrick Smith, Remone Smith (Keywanna), Two wonderful daughters Valerie Archer, and Tracey Smith, one sister-in-law Alma Jean Harris, fourteen grandchildren,  seven great grand children, one brother Ronald Smith, five sisters Mr. and Mrs. Willie J. Beasley (Elnora), Mr. and Mrs. James Hines (Millinese), Ms. Noble Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Thompson ( Connie), Ms. Angela Murray; a host of other relatives and friends.
