The funeral for David Reznicek of North Bend will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend. David P. Reznicek, 70, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Fremont Area Medical Center. He was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Dodge to Adolph F. and Emma A. (Semerad) Reznicek. He was a graduate of North Bend High School. He married Patricia O'Connor on Dec. 27, 1958 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. He lived and farmed his entire life in Union Township of rural North Bend. He owned and operated P & R Sales since 1969. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend and a life member of Nebraska State Snowmobile Association. Survivors include: wife, Pat; sons, Randy (and wife, Julie) Reznicek, Tim (and wife, Amy) Reznicek, all of North Bend; daughter, Jacci Reznicek of Lincoln; sons, Marty (and wife, Charlene) Reznicek of North Bend, and Bill Reznicek of Lincoln; brothers, Norbert (and wife, Roby) Reznicek of Clarkson and Kenneth (and wife, Phyllis) Reznicek of Fountain, Colo.; sister, Loretta (and husband, Dwayne) Muff of Omaha; brother-in-law, Vern Mihulka of Norfolk and sister-in-law, JoAnn O'Connor of Valley; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Evelyn Mihulka and brother-in-law, Jack O'Connor. The vigil service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Visitation with family present will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the church and visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery at Clyde. Memorials may be made to North Bend Library Fund or St. Charles Catholic Church at North Bend
