Our Christmas bikes

August 13, 2019
It was such a great Christmas for us. Brand new bikes! Our only problem was the several inches of snow laying between Wyman School’ asphalt and our bikes’ new rubber tires. Well, we knew who was going to win that battle! Two hours later we were riding. I think we lasted about thirty minutes. I remember everything, David. Every day.

The Quiet One

August 27, 2018

David was one of the middle children in our family ... him and Sheryl.  He didn’t say too much, but he definitely had his opinion about things ... once he decided something there was no changing his mind ... he had a dry, subtle sense of humor and a macabre mindset.  When he was a teenager, he slept in a coffin in his room instead of a bed.  He liked skulls and blood and guts stuff, but he was also fascinated by the history of the civil war days. David would do just about anything for anybody, but don’t give him  a hug ... he never liked to show emotion. We always did it anyway ... partly because we knew it bothered him ... that’s just the way we were. In her later years I think David was Mother’s favorite ... if she needed something done ... David would do it! We love and miss you, David ... Happy Birthday
