Part of David's Journey
On April 25, 1979 David Christopher Semrau was born in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In 1985, he moved with his family to Memphis, TN. David started his soccer career at a very young age. He played for Fury and Memphis Futbol Clubs. As part of the under 19 age group, the Memphis Futbol Club placed third in the nation with a National ChampionshipTitle. He loved scoring hat tricks, and celebrating as a team. This MFC team had the honors of traveling to Europe where they won the Royal Mail Cup Championship in England. David loved playing and watching soccer. He was so disappoointed that the U.S. team lost to Japan this year! I can hear him now cheering for the U.S. Team.
I will write more later about his educational journey...but for now we miss him. I was proud of him in so many ways. In soccer, when he was down....he kept trying! He never gave up.
It's April. I'm sharing part of his educational and career paths.
We celebrate his life yet... We miss him dearly.
