David M. Washburn, 54, of Susquehanna, PA entered into rest on November 25, 2011. He is the son of Alan and Marie Lindsley Washburn. He is also survived by his children, Valarie Washburn, Nadine and Jerome Benedict, Solomon and Brittany Washburn, and Nicholas Washburn; six grandchildren, Joshua, Devon, Tyler, Alexis, Logan, and Hope; four siblings, Paul, Richie, Donnie, and Rita; his former wife, Shirley Washburn; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis. David loved to read and he had the ability to fix anything. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 6-7, prior to the service.

His main passions were reading, fixing cars, and having all of his kids around just to talk to. While my heart achs for my father I take peace in knowing that for him the pain of this life is over.
