David M. Washburn, 54, of Susquehanna, PA entered into rest on November 25, 2011. He is the son of Alan and Marie Lindsley Washburn. He is also survived by his children, Valarie Washburn, Nadine and Jerome Benedict, Solomon and Brittany Washburn, and Nicholas Washburn; six grandchildren, Joshua, Devon, Tyler, Alexis, Logan, and Hope; four siblings, Paul, Richie, Donnie, and Rita; his former wife, Shirley Washburn; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis. David loved to read and he had the ability to fix anything. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 6-7, prior to the service.

so verysorry for nadine, valerie and solomom, also for shirlie. my love and prayers are with you. although i only met david once,he will be missed. he is with God and the angels now. may God heal your hearts and also bless all of davds grandchildren.

To us my father was a very sweet man. A father who loved his kids. To those on the outside he came off to be a very head strong guy. His main passions were reading, fixing cars, and having all of his kids around just to talk to. While my heart achs for my father I take peace in knowing that for him the pain of this life is over. R.I.P Daddy. I love you.

val, nadine and solomon, i am so sorry for your loss. i love you all and will be there for you no matter what you need.i didnt get to know your dad that well but being there these last few months i did see how strong he was and how much he loved you and the grand kids. times will be tough but try to stay strong and remember the good times with him. love you all-heather fitch-

I'll never forget the times we had with our dad. He was a very strong willed man and he carried that to the day he went to heaven. Everyday i'll be sayin a prayer lookin at the stars above bc i know that one is my dad always lookin down on us. I'll always cherish the values he taught us and they will be passed on thru his kids and grandkids. I lov you and i'll never forget. R.I.P Daddy
