Dayton Wells blessed his friends and family with memories of his strength, honesty, energy, ready wit, and generosity.  From 1963 when he entered Orleans High School after his parents moved to Indiana from Virginia these same attributes earned him countless friendships in his student, professional, and personal life. He returned those friendship in full measure developing lasting relationships which were demonstrated during his memorial on October 8, 2011. After graduation he began working his way through Northwood Institute by holding down a job.  He began his career by managing the Hub Restaurant in Prospect, moved on to manage Ted’s Drive-In in Mitchell, then owned and operated the popular Hub restaurant in Bedford for many years.  After the Hub burned he started Dayton’s Heating & Cooling in Bedford which continues to serve the community.  His death left an ache in our hearts.  He will be forever missed.
