ForeverMissed

Daughter of Theresa Lee and the late James Lee, Sr., Debbie grew up in the Village of New Haven and graduated from New Haven High School in 1975. She started working at Kmart directly out of high school while attending college – and made this her lifetime career with 35+ years of service at the time of retirement.

Everyone that knew Debbie would agree – she was not conventional, by any means. She was one to march to the beat of a different drum, which is the very thing that made her so special to her family and friends. Most of us knew her by the nickname “Boo”. Debbie liked to travel to the Caribbean, loved her family and friends, and would always be up for a celebration (in the good old days this included: listening to local bands, hanging at the New Haven pit, or cruising Gratiot). She is survived by a son, Maxie McNair Jr., who was her heart & soul for the last 19 years.

We've shared so much that has touched my life and soul. Although we cannot be together, you will always be in my heart. I'm going to miss you. Love your sister, Vic.
