So many memories after viewing the photos on this page...your inviting smile, sense of humor, positive energy, but most of all your unmatched generosity. You were truly a reflection of your heavenly father, Jesus Christ, because you had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Sorry for your lost. Debra was a close friend of me and my family. We enjoyed her laughter and her sense of humor. I met her many years ago, my kids knew her as Aunt Debra. She was a loving, giving, and friendly person. I'm gonna miss her. She's always on my mind. Love ya

HOW I REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES ON CLAUDE ST. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU, ME AND DIANE MERCHANT GOT TOGETHER. WE WOULD LAUGH FOR DAYS AT ALL THE FUN THINGS WE USED TO DO.HAVE PLENTY OF MEMORIES OF YOU AND WILL KEEP THEM CLOSE TO MY HEART. My fond memory of Debra is our riding the school bus every morning and she would put her books sweaters etc. on the seats to save a few of us seats she was a very nice person. who will be missed, May she continue to Rest in Peace

My friend. My sister my partner in crime!  Our years together have proven to be such a great learning curve. We partied at Regina and Jennifer's house when we were just barely old enough to really know anything about life. We laughed hard we played hard, and now for my friend I will cry hard. My dearest Ferdinand family, words can not express my sorrow for you all. But GOD!!! We know she is in His Arms. For the WORD of GOD says"Absent in the body, but present in the LORD. 1Cor 5:3. My friend, Princess Ferdinand, Debra, what a wonderful beautiful person you are and were. We lived together and became like family. There wasn't any thing the Ferdinand wouldn't do for you. My family and I talk about how we would go places and the first person they would serve or cater to would be Debra. Always blessing and giving of herself and money to help someone. 

We love and miss the Ferdinand. She was a special messenger sent down to us from Heaven above. Can't wait to see you and fellowship again.  Heaven is worth seeking and going to, just to see and be with the people that blessed your life the most. Your friend forever Pastor  Nina Jewel with Pastor Roger and family. Blessings. We miss your smile and your word, Chicken!!

I realized that the rumor was true a few weeks ago! I never knew you could truly love non blood family members until I got older and started seeing folks in the church I grew up in pass on. I know sister Debra is in Heaven regulating the children in church service. I can remember my prom night, as she did my makeup and WAS SERIOUS about me messing up my face! Lord! She was a confident, strong, woman of God. She ALWAYS smell good with that Black Magic Avon! (My favorite). May you rest in Heaven! Until we meet again,
