Her Life

The Mom I Remember

April 4, 2012

The woman I remember was a stern but loving mom. She had her ways of being tough on us but showing she loved us at the same time.  She loved to talk to me on the phone for hours and hours every day. When I was down and I needed someone to talk too, she was the first person I called. When the chemo had her feeling sad, lonely and keeping her up at night she would call me and nomatter if I was working or sleeping I woke up and kept her company until she fell asleep again. Although we bumped heads as any parent and child does, I would never trade any moment I had with her and I couldnt have asked for a better mom. I would onlly ask god to give me moments with her. As time goes on the hole in my heart lies empty. I try to fill it with happy memories you.
