This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Della Mattson, 85, born on September 16, 1930 and passed away on December 2, 2015. We will remember her forever.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Della and Leonard were two of my favorite people and it sounds as if Della was in character to the end.

My folks were good friends and I remember playing with most of you kids (graduated with Gloria) and how nice your mom was. She was a wonderful person.

I think about Mom every hour of every day. I imagine her smiling and dancing in heaven with all the loved ones who passed before her. Although she has been taken from us, I believe that heaven has gained a strong, loving and compassionate soul.

Of course here is Mom with dogs all around her.   She always had one in her lap or beside her when she sat down.

My last vacation with Mom.  We went to Lone Mountain Ranch in Montana. I chose the place because it was all inclusive with a fabulous menu.  I did not know that it was best known for excellent flyfishing and cross country skiing.  Needless to say we were treated like celebrities. We had the best vacation ever..
