Charity Work

Delphine is a dedicated donor to breast cancer and the eve appeal that deals with gynaecological cancers. The term 'gynaecological cancer' refers to the five cancers that start in the female reproductive system:

Cervical Ovarian Vaginal Vulval Womb (also known as cancer of the uterus, endometrial cancer, or uterine cancer)

In addition a faithful giver to the work of God.

An active promoter and donor for the Mary Kay Foundation dedicated to ending women's cancers and domestic abuse.

Delphine followed the principle of Mary Kay Ash, Delphine gave hope to people she comes in contact with, an encourager to the core, an entertainer to the core, gives opportunity to people, share her passion for Mary Kay products to women she meets, gives self-esteem and showed love.

She is known on the bus at Bickley as the black woman with a beautiful girl that sells Mary Kay, most people do not know her name but her image and spirit lingers with them, she definately brings hope and courage to those she comes in contact with on a daily basis.

AFTER THE BURIAL A CHARITY WILL BE SET-UP IN MEMORY OF DELPHINE OMOTOSHO to raise more awareness and educate us all.

Delphine was the 3rd child of Chief Udo Thompson Ufot and to Late Ma Mariana Thompson Ufot, blessed with 2 brothers (1 deceased) and 3 sisters (1 deceased). She was married to Patrick Omotosho and the union was blessed with a beautiful daughter Chantelle Olamide Idara Omotosho, Delphine also had many spiritual children and many god children. Quote "A woman in Bickley from Zimbabwe said that she has never met any woman who is very passionate for the success of other women, an encourager, she lift up people's spirit with her words of hope, faith and words of inspiration. A fighter to to the core who was not ready to give up, still doing business until she took her last breathe. Delphine loves music, a worshipper, very industrious, loves good food and enjoys entertaining.

Career Journey of Delphine Ufot Omotosho

Delphine attended the Roman Catholic Mission Primary School (RCM) in Mutengene, Cameron and went on to Udoma Commercial Secondary School, Ibekwe, Ikot Abasi, Nigeria on leaving secondary school, she attended BOCOBS in Maiduguri and went on to University of Maiduguri for her BA and she had BA Hons in Sociology. She attended Unilag to complete an MBA before coming to the UK in 1989. She worked for Anchor Trust from 1992 started as a Senior Carer and at the height of her time at the Trust she became a Manager managing one of their homes, during her time she upskilled herself and became an External Assessor for Social Care NVQ Level 3. She resigned from Anchor Trust when she became ill, on recovery she decided that she needed a change an embank on a new direction and got involved with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Her passion for success, her dedication and enthusiasm make her become a Director of Mary Kay Cosmetics, she was a dedicated member of the Eagles Team of Mary Kay. Also a mentor to those in her team and other team, got involved in other venue, run a monthly training programme to encourage and motivate her team members, extremely full of passion for what she does up until she passed away she was still taking orders from her clients. Delphine's life is full of hopes and not regrets. A dedicated child of God, a member of St James Catholic Church in Petts Wood and Christ's Disciples Mission Resurrection Chapel, West Wickham. A dedicated attendee of a local bible studies held every Wednesday by Christ Embassy in Petts Wood. Delphine was interested in knowing the Word of God, also a Deaconess at CDM Resurrection Chapel, A Dorcas of the 21st century, she will be greatly missed.
