His Life
February 5, 2016

DeMorrio, who referred to himself as Suaveeee or Short Dog, was born to Bennie and Latonya Fuller on Sunday, July 13, 1986 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He had so many accomplishments in his 29 years on this earth. DeMorrio came into this world with an agenda “all about fun.”

DeMorrio grew up in and joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 5. As a youth, he was an active participant in Sunday School, Youth Choir, Youth Church and Bible Study. For many years, he represented Zion Hill at the Sunday School Congress. He was active in many other organizations including Club Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as a Scout Leader. He attended the Meriwether County School System, graduating with honors with the Greenville High School Class of 2004. He was active in football, baseball and weight lifting during his high school career. He dreamed of becoming a pilot at the age of 3. He attended Civil Air Patrol, where he flew his first flight at the age of 13. At his high school graduation, DeMorrio received a flag from the White House for being the first African American in Meriwether County to receive the nomination for the Air Force Academy by all branches of the military. He went on to attend the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. He later attended Strayer University in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. He later attended West Georgia Technical College in 2012, where he received an Associate’s Degree as a Master Barber.

DeMorrio was sworn into the U.S. Navy on January 7, 2007. He began his career in the Navy as a Sonar Technician on the nuclear submarine USS Maryland. He quickly excelled up the ranks to E4. As a result of being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on July 13, 2008, he received a medical retirement (honorable discharge) from the U.S. Navy on March 1, 2010. After his separation from the Navy, he started a new career as Site Security for Serco (an independent contractor for the U.S. Navy). He was currently employed at Atlanta’s Finest Barbershop in College Park, GA. He considered this as one of his greatest passions.

DeMorrio was united in Holy Matrimony to Natasha Taylor on December 13, 2008. To this union, two beautiful daughters were born. Layla Amoriah shares her father’s birthday and Moriah Noelle shares his personality (all about fun). He was later blessed with a son, Kingston DeMorrio Fuller (Krystal Hart).

DeMorrio was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Warner and Mary Jessie Fuller and his great grandmother, the late Lenell Owens Scott.

DeMorrio leaves to mourn his precious memories his dedicated and supportive parents, Bennie and Latonya Fuller; his wife, Natasha Fuller; three precious children, Layla, Moriah and Kingston; one brother, Beontae Fuller (Kayla); grandparents, Mary Nell Rosser (Johnny), Joe Nathan Rosser (Sylvia); great-grandfather, Willie Lee Clements, Sr.; mother and father-in-law, Darryl and Tammy Fluker; sisters-in-law, Briauna and Aaliyah Green; aunts, Roberta Johnson (Charlie), Barbara Jean Fuller, Joya Abrams (Nate); uncles, Michael Fuller (Tina), Jeffery Fuller (Emma Jean), Johnathan Rosser (Aliya) and Darius Maize (Shimeka); two special uncles (fatherly figures), Christopher Owens and Darrell Owens (Kimberlea); special great Aunts and Uncles, Sophia and Nathaniel Cleveland, Bill Clements, Vickie and Stalin Williams and Frances J.
