11 years. 11 years and I still see your face like it was yesterday when I last saw you! Happy 57th Birthday Celebrate in Heaven Sis! I love you and miss you.
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Dena "Lady D" Carter, 46, born on August 18, 1961 and returned home to her Heavenly Father on September 17, 2007. We will remember her forever.

Well baby Girl, Your Born Day is rapidly approaching and I find myself missing you more and more. I learned some things about you from Debbie, I didn't know before. Some good, some not so good. But all in all, a part of who you were, what made you the woman you were and we all still love you just the same!

I think about your beautiful face all the time, I remember the light in your eyes when you would hold Malachi your first grandbaby in your arms. Even as Dena neared the end of her time here on Earth, you could still count on her to have a smile on her face. She would be in intense pain and having trouble breathing and still she would be smiling. She truly cherished life.
