Her Life

Sisters Of The Sun M.C.

March 20, 2012

When the Brothers and Sisters of the Sun Motorcycle Clubs first came to Wyoming, Lady D was one of the first females to join.  She was duly elected as the Ladies Voice at the very first meeting of the club and was instrumental in helping the club grow and prosper.

In 2003, Lady D helped organize the Suns "Ride for Downed/Injured Bikers"  and was it's strongest fundraiser. Because of the tremendous effort Lady D made. The club was able to help two seperate familes suffering under the weight of overwhelming medical bills.  To her credit, she did this while suffering herself from the intermediate stages of cancer and never once complained or failed to carry her end of the load.

The Lioness

March 17, 2012

Being a Leo, she displayed all the best characteristics of the lioness.

Dena was very strong of will, cared very deeply for her family and was always seeking a better way to provide for her children.

Because she grew up not having a lot, she always worked to ensure that her kids wanted for very little.  Do not get me wrong, Dena did NOT by any stretch of the imagination give in to every little whim of her offspring, but she would go to almost any length to ensure they had their every need met.

To put any of her children in harm's way, was to risk having to face her wrath which could be relentless and vicious.

At the same time, it is impossible to think of her without recognizing the nurturing, caring, mother figure which was so much of her personality.
