He married his one true love patrica Janet Nolan of van beauren on febuary 12 1980 and spent 25 wonderful years together untiill her death in 2007 after which he got sick and had to be put in a nursing home there he passed away after a long battle with cancer

After the war he went to work for general moters in bowling green ky and made corvets from 1950-1970 retiring in 1971 at age 50
