His Life

In memory of Derrick..........

August 30, 2010

Derrick and I met about 6 years ago at Mighty Muffler, he fixed my exhaust, and I fell for him and vice versa.  We share a son together as  you know....Lane.  We share alot of memories together, the short time we were together, the birth of our son for number 1.  We enjoyed alot of the same things, 4-Wheelers, Cars and Jeeps.  We loved our trips to KY every chance we got.  We spent a week in TN just 4-Wheeling,  we had a very good time, and those times will never ever be forgotten, it's sad there will never ever be any more of those times, no more phone calls, no more seeing him every day, when Derrick passed, a huge part of myself died.  He was not only the dad of our son, he was my best friend, if I needed anything, all I had to do was call.  Only I know how I feel inside about him and his death.  Derrick loved anything that had to do with workin on cars, selling cars, 4-wheeling and his favorite building Jeeps, which he was very good at.  He was good at alot things, especially working on things.  Derrick knew I loved him and I always will.  All I can do now is live with the memories we have and all the pictures I have of him and us.  He left Lane behind, which looks just like him.  Derrick used to ask me, what I have to do with his birth, cause he is the one that had him...and always called him his "Mini Me" and that's very well said!!! Derrick, I hope someday we meet up again, cause I sure miss you each and every day, there isn't and won't be a day that goes by that I don't think of him or remember the last time we spoke on the phone before his death.  I will end now, but I will be adding more!!!  Derrick, Lane and I love you forever and always will,  you will never be forgotten!!!  R.I.P.
