Devin is the 1st baby born to us and he had a little sister 17 months younger than him,Sarah Elizabeth(but she died as a still born).He has a brother who's 5 yrs younger then he is.there were several pregnancies in between Devin & Aron just trying to have Aron.
Devin was our 1st baby and he was a very happy baby. He grew up with a couple of friends that would be his friends even up to the day he passed away. Ronnie Paulick,Stacy Kerwin,Brian Britz(he didn't see Brian much but he,we are VERY good friends of that WHOLE family). He also had friends that he grew up with from grade school and on up that were close to him to the day he passed away. Devin honored each and every one if their friendships. Friends and family always meant the world to him.
Just after kindergarten and going into 1st grade he had an extremely bad bike accident and ended up in the hospital for a few days. He took the pavement directly into his face. He went right over the handlebars as another boy purposely plowed directly into the front end of the bike he was riding and sent him over the handlebars taking the sidewalk right into his face.
That was when the house was being moved on the lake by Hazel St by the park and it is now located on Main St down by South Side boat club.
Devin LOVED fishing,& hunting. He speared a really nice female a sturgeon. His Dad would spear males. It was a joke that Devin speared the big 1's and Dad got the little 1's. His Dad wasn't even able to see him spear his 1st sturgeon. Bill went up to get his registered and when he came back Devin had already caught it.
He shot his biggest buck he ever shot Nov 2010 and he just mounted (with the help of his Dad over seeing things when he needed him) he just got it done. Just before he was killed.
He finally got the job he wanted working on a wild game ranch. They were all going to be going on a bear hunt in a few months,something Devin had wanted to for so many yrs. He finally was going to be able to do something he wanted to do and things were looking up for him in so many ways.
