His Life

On August 28th, 2015 God sent his angels to deliver our Angel into his arms. Dexter lived his life full of joy and love. He was full of compassion for others. Dexter had a spirit within him that would light up the room. Dexter was a respectable, considerate and kind young gentleman. He was overflowing with love for his family. He was a wonderful son, father and brother.

Dexter was born March 06, 1990 to Sarah and Henry Lee. He was raised in Barbour County. His parents instilled in him at a young age the values of living the life that God had outlined for him. They taught him the Golden Rule at an early age to “treat other the way you would like to be treated”. During his youth,

Dexter attended Clayton Elementary School and graduated from Barbour County High School. While in high school, he excelled in basketball and football. After graduation from high school, he decided to further his education at Wallace College in Eufaula, Alabama.

Dexter was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Martha Rumph; maternal grandfather, Roosevelt Rodgers and paternal grandmother, Juanita Lee, paternal grandfather, Oscar Lee.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories parents, Sarah Ann Rumph and Henry Lee; a precious son that he loved with all his heart, Dexter Duran Rumph
