Today, I would like to take a moment to say "Thank you Diane", for the way you brightened my life in your own special way. We were fortunate enough to share many wonderful memories together. But all the same, I will feel cheated, always, that you were taken away from me suddenly and yet, I am so grateful that I met you. I want to let you know the days without you has been difficult.
Diane was a caring loving person, a good friend ( especially to BGF Bridgette), daughter to Carol (whom she loved her mom), and her sisters, Lynn, Corrie, Connie, and Jennie. She was a loving mother who did her best as a single parent to raise her son, Ryan. An aunt to Laurel Ann and Jeremy, and grandmother to Isabella, and Brooklynn.
She also loved her cats ,Meow (RIP September 4,2015), and newly adopted Magic from Valentines day of 2016.
Diane loved music and movies. Some of her music favorites were ABBA, Hilary Duff, Duran Duran, Madonna, Partridge Family, Stevie Nicks, David Cassidy, music from the 80's, but her favorite singer was the king of pop, Michael Jackson. And we all know, Diane was the queen of horror movies and thriller movies. Some of here favorites included, Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Jason, Night of the Demons, Poltergeist, SleepAway Camp, and many more. TV Sitcoms included, Beverley Hills 90120, Desperate Housewives, Everybody Loves Raymond, America's Next Top Model, Simpsons, King of the Hill, Project Runway, Honeymooners, Seinfeld and more.
I think it is very possible some of us have some guilt or disappointment that we did not keep in close touch with Diane. If you feel that way of all, I ask that you treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer a good friend. Diane would of wanted it that way.
Diane loved you all, and just wanted to be loved. We will miss her.
Gone but not forgotten.....
