"Thinking of you and wish you were still here with us.
"As I do every year on June 24th, I think of you, and your sisters & brothers who have also passed. I miss you all."
"Thinking of you on your birthday and missing your laughter. This year we spent Easter in Granada and you would have so loved the elaborate processions and floats. You could hear the bells ring throughout the night all across the city, you would have loved it. I missed sharing it with you in person but it sometimes felt as if you were there in spirit.
Love always, Dori"
"Thinking of you on your 92nd birthday!"
"I had a wonderful dream last night. We were in France driving along the Loire River past picture perfect small towns with a castle on the hill like Blois discussing the merits of staying in a castle for the night or a small manor house. It felt so real, I hope you were there to share the memory with me. I love & miss you."
"Thinking of you today, as I do on so many days. Five years, and yet seems like such a short time since you passed. Often, I go to call you to check a family-fact, or share a laugh, or just a friendly hello & then remember - she's not there anymore. Good thing no phones in heaven or yours would be ringing all the time!"
"So many times I want to share a special moment and I hope you sometimes still hear me and laugh with me once again. -
Happy Birthday where ever your spirit may be know that I love and miss you."
"I will always treasure the personal moments we shared Aunt Dolores. My father once told me that you were one of the most remarkable women that he had ever met. Your love extended to many. Four years have passed but you are not forgotten by those who loved you.
Rest in peace. Say hi to mom."
"4 years and still there are days when it feels as if it was only yesterday. I think of you often and miss the wonderful adventures we shared.
Hopefully your life is now filled with joy.
"June 24th is here again; the years pass so quickly and yet it still seems like you just left us. Be at peace Mom."

"I really love my grandma and miss her dearly. Some of my first memories are of me toddling around in her house, talking to her and hugging her. I love her, and always will. I hope she enjoys her time in Heaven."
"I thought of you yesterday, Aunt Dolores, when hosting my wife's retirement party from the University of California after 35 years of service. You were a pioneer for and an inspiration to all working women. Lori and I dearly love you and we hope that you are enjoying heaven with your loving family and friends."
"Today the cool rain gently bathed the Bay Area. It reminded me of our first trip to Paris in 1989, how the Chestnut trees, tulips and spires of Notre Dame seemed to glow after it rained. 3 years and still days when it feels like I saw you yesterday. I miss you and love you and hope heaven is glorious."
"Seems like a few months ago but really it's been three years since your passing Mom. I think of you often & can't believe how many times I think of calling you & then reality hits. Hope there really is a hereafter & you are with your beloved sisters, brothers, Mom & Dad. Still miss you."
"Today I left a story/poem of the true meaning of Mothers Day written by Julia Ward Howe in 1870. I hope that my mother knew of this poem as she would have rejoiced in its meaning & beauty.
Wishing she was here to share this with her."
"Happy Mother's Day Mom!"
"In Argentina Mom! Thought of you during my travels here as we talked about going to Buenos Aires someday! You would love this country! Hope your birthday was a good one in the heavenly skies!"
