Mrs. Dolores Eich, 93, born on May 4, 1923 in Pine City, Minnesota was a beloved person. I know many of us have all the right intentions to reach out with condolences, but have no clue how to put the pen to paper. We have no clue where to begin or what to say. I say that Delores was one of those who loved Jesus, her family & friends. After a move West over 42 years ago my memories are thru Marlene Tacheny. In April of 2008 Marlene, Delores & I drove to Pine City, MN to visit the town and memories. Delores told stories of her ancestors who had a huge settlement near St John’s University, where I attended school. She was kind and full of love for her family, both those gone and those remaining.

May Jesus hold her for eternity.

Thank you Grandma for sharing and teaching me all of your gifts. One of my most important teachers of wisdom, light, God, nurturing, faith, patience, tolerance, charity, justice, music, hope, creativity, obedience, home making, humility, history, family, sacrifice, knowledge, feminism, kindness, generosity, spirit, life and death, wholesomeness, cooking, peace, prayer, forgiveness, unconditional love and so much more.

While you have passed on to heaven but your spirit and memory will live on through the forest of seeds you have planted on this earth. You leave an unprecedented legacy and have made the world a better place for all those that you have touched. I am forever thankful and blessed to be your oldest grandchild and honored to pass on your wisdom and teachings to generations yet to come. My heart is exploding with love for you and I will miss you more than this world could ever know.

May god bless you and shall you rest in eternal peace.
