103 this year! Wow! I’m Laura Conrad, Bruce & Margaret’s daughter. Kathleen was my grandmother & Donald was my beloved great uncle. I miss both Irene & Don greatly. I’m glad to hear Antelope Valley College has a scholarship in their names. We have many teachers among the Ross family descendants. Gary, your dad taught me to drive that 1931 beauty out in the desert in 2006. I remember him being very patient with me, explaining the choke, brakes, no power steering. I was a good student. I think I’m the only 49 year old woman who can drive a Model T Opera coupe. I’m famous for calling students “kiddos”. Guess who I learned that from? Your mom!
103 this year. The 1931 Ford enjoyed the local parade with the piano tuner and wife in the rumble seat. Enjoyed the fact that it ran ok. Mother would have been proud of it. GR
Hey Grandpa Ross, I miss you very much. I miss all the memories I had growing up with you & Grandma Ross. You taught me so much & definitely the reason I got into racecars. I wish we could've spent more time together. I look forward to seeing you in the future. Love, Robert
May brings back memories of good times. Old car is finished, piano is played everyday for Mom, and the estate is all settled; I see you are smiling. Every year Antelope Valley College gives out a scholarship in the name of Don and Irene Ross. Yes I do talk to my sister every month! Love, Gary P.S. Happy Birthday!
