Donna JoAnn Blevins, 56, a lifetime resident  of Granville County passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Durham Regional Hospital .

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Granville Harold Blevins. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was medically retired from the State of N.C.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 11th 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

Surviving are her mother, Mary Arnold Blevins, two sisters, Carol Blevins Thomas and Sandy Blevins McClure, all of Creedmoor, special friend Needham Sloan and her two dogs, Lady and Duke.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday October 11th 2012 from 12:30-2:00 PM at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.

Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the Blevins family.

Mary, Carol and Sandy. I am sorry for the loss of Donna. She was one of my best friends during school. I hate we lost contact after my marriage and my moving to Raleigh. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May God give you comfort during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
