That beautiful photo brings back memories of when we lived in Valpo and Dorathy and my mom Laura Prahl were friends. I can picture them, up in heaven, enjoying each other's company. So many great pictures and memories to cherish. May God bring you comfort and His peace as you share joy and tears together, remembering a loving mother and grandmother and fine Christian!

Greatest Grandmother Ever!

September 30, 2013

I say this for not just me but all of the grandkids, Grandma had a way of making each of us feel super specail! Never forgetting a birthday, sending specail cookies, knowing the right thing to say at the perfect time. For me Grandma always had my favorite Cream cheese cookies when I came to visit. She made me my "dippy" eggs. She also went in seach of personalized items and durring the 80's finding a personalized item with the name Jamie not in blue was very hard, but she did it every time! Living so far away, she always made me feel as if it was not far at all. I will also cherrish the time she spent with my kids. I remember the last time we were out to visit, I went looking for my daughter and found her curled up on Grandmas lap snuggling and watching TV together.
