Mum would you believe I am now 80 years old. How the time has passed! I don't think you would like the world the way it is today - it is so very different. I love you Mum xxx       

My Mum was born in Inverell New South Wales in 1905. She and her family moved to Sydney a few years later. She married my father in 1923 and seven years later they had a son who unfortunately only lived a few hours. In 1935  they had a daughter, Joan.  I am now 77 years old but I still miss my Mum and always will. She was a wonderful mother and I loved her very much. God bless you Mum xxx
