One of my fondest memories with my grandma is when I was home sick from school, she would make sure that I wasn't miserable.  She would take care of me and help to keep my mind off of being sick by playing card games with me such as Canasta, Phase 10, Go Fish, or whatever I would like to play.  She would then always fix popcorn for us.  She would make jokes, tell stories, make, and make me laugh so hard that tears came rolling from my eyes.  Being home sick with my grandma, always felt like a vacation or day off.  She always made sure that I was taken care of. She was the most generous person I have ever known.  I wish that I could relive those days with her by my side. I never got to say how much I loved her and to thank her for everything she did for me. 

Thank you Grandma for all those wonderful times.  I feel truly blessed to have you as my grandmother.  The world has lost the best grandmother that has ever lived.  Goodbye and may you find peace wherever you are.  You are my shining star.
