Dorothy Marie Bullock Keeton, 89, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016.
She was a lifetime resident of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Louise Hope Bullock. Dorothy was a member of Stovall United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford by Rev. Norman Talley. Burial will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park.
Surviving are her son, Marvin Keeton of Stovall; a daughter, Debbie Newcomb (Tommy) of Oxford; a brother, J.W. Bullock, Jr. (Janice) of Goldsboro; two sisters ,Margaret Bullock Matthews and Carrie Frances Bullock Pegram both of Williamsboro; seven grandchildren, Shannon Keeton Daniel, (Scott), T.J. Keeton, Jr. (Michelle), Kristi Keeton Wiles, Jenny Garland Washington, Michael Newcomb (Sherry), Stephanie Keeton Bullock (Mike), Khristie Jackson (Billy); eighteen great- grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jerome Keeton, Jr.; two sons, Robert Allen Keeton and Tony Jerome Keeton, and a grandson, John Nicholas Garland.
Visitation will be held Monday Evening, September 26, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of Marvin Keeton.
