Happy birthday, my darling brother. Though you are away from me right now, you are never far from my thoughts. I know we will meet again in heaven, with our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Happy Birthday dear brother. I love and miss you so much. I don't see you in my dreams much and I miss that as well. I'll see you in Heaven with Jesus, Doug. I love you.
Love you, Doug. Just found out a new FB friend, a former tight end for the Chicago Bears... it's his birthday today, too! Oh, he lives here in Weiser, now... owns hunting resort here. Love you so much. See you in my dreams. <3
Love you so much, Doug... visit you in my dreams and we talk just like always. We are due for another visit soon. :) You were right on about DDD. AIG is another story altogether. You're still the big brother you always are. <3
Dear Doug...I miss you every day but sometimes visit you in my dreams. I know we will meet again one day in heaven. I love you so much. Happy Easter and Happy Birthdat, my dear, dear Brother.
My brother Doug was amazing... wonderful...brilliant...clever...quick-witted...mean to his little sister and protective at the same time. He gave the red panda bear he won at the fair to me instead of to his girlfriend when I was six years old. He took care of the bully at the park for me when I was seven. He showed me how a matched burned twice... and I still have the little scar to prove it. Doug, I and my three cousins taught their great dane "Satan" to sing to Donny Osmond records, much to the consternation of my Uncle Lee Roy. Doug took me out in the family van when we lived in Hawaii and showed me how fabulous the car was performing 360s on the old WWII air strip in Barbers Point. He always had the best ideas for ways to spend any money I saved! The one time we went to the same high school he let me ditch with him one day and we spent the whole day in Fresno watching movies, playing in Toys-R-Us and just generally wasting time; yet he still got me back up the mountain in time to catch the school bus to get home! I am thinking this memorial might turn into something more like a blog. I really miss him but sometimes I'm lucky enough to see him in my dreams. We have a great time there, too.
Happy birthday, my darling brother. Though you are away from me right now, you are never far from my thoughts. I know we will meet again in heaven, with our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
